betulacarelica's journal

entries are organised with newest at the top. i just add a new entry in plain text whenever i feel like it.
you can search for specific subjects in your browser (eg. f3 in google chrome). i add a list of tags i think are relevant at the end of entries. you can also search by random keywords or by date (dd/mm/yy). if youre on mobile or use another browser, errr idk how you search, but you can google it lol

list of all currently in-use hashtags (alphabetical):

entry #2 -- 11/01/25 @ 17:59

i like how the point of this site was to simplify the journal writing. and yet i forgot it existed and didnt update the journal.
theres not much i can add here really, mostly ive just been sleeping lmao. ive been meaning to write more, but ive not quite gotten into the swing of things yet. ive got some stuff coming up irl which is occupying most of my brain space right now. i think once thats out of the way ill just try and focus entirely on writing for a while and see if i can get back into the swing of things.
it has been along time since i wrote anything consistently. ive basically not done anything properly since i finished uni in 2024. of course, my brain avoids anything that feels like obligation, so when i had homework to do id do personal writing instead, and now i have nothing to do except get the personal writing done, i cant even get started! that figures.
just a small update for now. idk how ill do these going forward. i mean, ill try and do something regularly. maybe there will even be multiple entries per day if i have something else to say later on. for now, its just this i guess!!

like a blog but messier

entry #1 -- 07/01/25 @ 18:25

adding my first entry cause im setting my site up anyway so that makes sense. if i have something here at least, then i can test formatting and whatnot.
today is a slowwww day, but yesterday & the day before i spent the whole time setting up my own personal little dashboard in html that i can just open from my pc. since i have trouble focusing, and my laptop is plugged into my tv via hdmi, i wanted something i could put on the big second screen that would help out. i find that these days the only reason i get distracted and want to check social media is to see if anything is going on. im also an earthquake hobbyist (is that what you should call it?? lmao) so another distraction is running livestreams or globalquake. i added the emsc websocket to my dashboard alongside an rss news feed from a few different sources, so i can see if anything important happens without having to open twitter and get distracted by how annoying people are.
i tried setting up a little rotating 'stuff of the day' thing too but it doesnt work very well. but i do have notification sounds and a music player, a clock, a stopwatch, a links section, and a notepad!! so hopefully it will help my productivity.
of course, technically, i got distracted by making it in the first place, but when its done its done lmao
